At the end of the dark tunnel, there will always be a glimmer of hope. After a long absence and despite the difficult economic situation and the Coronavirus pandemic, the Patriarchal Maronite Seminary opened its doors on Monday, September 28, 2020 and seminarians were back to be the prophets of this era, proclaiming Hope and Salvation.
This academic year 2020-2021 was inaugurated with a mass celebrated by the rector Mgr. Georges Abi Saad. Nothing is more relevant and more solid than this verse from the prophet Ezekiel, which challenges us today in our present condition, « Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak to you. » (Ez 2,1), which is taken as our motto of the year. So we can start the year under the impact and the force of the Word of God, which calls us to announce the joy and the deliverance to our people, which carries on its shoulders the burden of present life in all its forms.
