In an emotional atmosphere full of gratitude, the family of the Patriarchal Maronite Seminary gathered on Saturday October 10 at noon at the Church of Saint Joseph around the altar of God for the Eucharistic celebration to thank him for his inexhaustible graces which sowed them in the soul of the very dear Sister Marie Edvige. The mass was presided over by Mgr. Peter Karam in the collaboration of the seminary’s priests, and the presence of the sisters of the Holy Maronite Family. In his homily, Mgr. Karam thanked Sister Marie Edvige for her consecration in the seminary service for seventeen years, also his Eminence Patriarch Al-Raii addressed his word of thanks and gratitude to Sister Marie Edvige through Mgr. Karam. After Mass, everyone we gathered around the lunch table, and Father Rector Mgr. Georges Abi Saad offered a certificate of thanks to Sister Marie Edvige who prayed to God to confirm the seminarians in their vocation and asked us to always pray for her.
“Obedience has granted me this function, and I want to fulfill it.”
